Antique 9ct Gold Single Albert Watch Chain with Bloodstone and Carnelian Swivel Fob

An antique 9ct yellow gold single Albert watch chain of curb link design. The chain is fitted with a T-bar and a swivel clasp. Suspended from the chain is a circular rotating swivel fob bezel-set with two hardstone panels. One side appears to be a dark green bloodstone with red inclusions, while the reverse appears to be a reddish-brown carnelian or sard. The T-bar and individual links of the chain are stamped with British hallmarks including 9 and .375, indicating 9-carat gold purity. A maker’s mark consisting of the letters M and W within a rectangular cartouche is visible on the T-bar. The chain is constructed from gold.
