Description
A small white metal scoop of English manufacture, likely intended for use as a tea caddy spoon or salt scoop. The piece consists of a deep, semi-cylindrical press-formed bowl and a short, solid turned handle with three decorative incised rings at the end. The reverse of the bowl is stamped with the mark MADE IN ENGLAND. As there are no sterling silver hallmarks, the item is considered to be silver-plated or made from a base metal alloy such as nickel silver.
