A sterling silver-handled bread fork featuring an elaborately decorated repoussé handle with floral and scroll motifs. The fork is fitted with three steel tines. The silver handle bears a full set of British hallmarks, including the maker mark, the lion passant for .925 sterling silver, the anchor for the Chester Assay Office, and the date letter D. The neck of the fork is stamped with the inscriptions ENGLISH MAKE and STEEL.
