Michelin Bibendum Figural Money Bank, Cast Iron, Contemporary Reproduction

This lot consists of one figural money bank depicting Bibendum, the iconic Michelin Man mascot. Designed in a vintage automobilia style, the figure is made from painted cast iron. The two-piece construction is secured by a single flat-head screw on the reverse. The figure features the traditional stacked tyre body finished in white paint with a yellow sash and a raised right hand. A coin slot is located on the upper back. The sash displays the brand name MICHELIN in blue block lettering. While styled as an antique, the paint application and casting texture are indicative of a contemporary reproduction.
