Description
A pair of Dutch brass vases manufactured by Daalderop in Tiel. These Art Nouveau (circa 1890-1910) pieces feature slender, tapering bodies flanked by two elongated, high-arched whiplash handles with stylised openwork terminals. Each piece is decorated with a band of repeating circular motifs near the base of the body and a similar border on the stepped, circular foot. The underside of the base is stamped with a circular maker’s mark reading TIEL HOLLAND surrounding a central monogram, accompanied by the incised model number 1375.
