A vintage glazed ceramic money box manufactured by Pasco Pottery Co. Ltd., depicting the character Mr. Greedy from the Mr. Men book series by Roger Hargreaves. The figure is modelled as a rotund, pink anthropomorphic character with his hands resting on his belly and a smiling facial expression. A coin slot is located on the reverse of the head and neck. The circular base features the embossed name MR GREEDY on the front edge and the manufacturer mark PASCO POTTERY Co. Ltd. on the underside. The item retains a grey plastic stopper in the base aperture.
