Each doll is finished with individualised hand-painted clown makeup in styles ranging from classic circus to Pierrot motifs, all with fixed painted eyes. Hair types include synthetic mohair-style wigs, structured synthetic hair, and one doll with vibrant red frizzy hair. The figures are dressed in diverse theatrical costumes made from metallic, satin, and woven fabrics, featuring harlequin patterns, plaid, checks, and patchwork hobo-style attire with pom-pom accents. One doll is depicted with a miniature stringed instrument resembling a banjo or mandolin. While no maker’s marks are clearly visible, two dolls retain original paper tags.
