Description
A collection of seven hand-painted miniature models produced by Coalport in fine bone china, primarily from the Past Times and village series. The group includes a variety of traditional British architectural structures: Robert Burns’ Cottage with a yellow thatched roof; a Tythe Barn from the English Barns series, noted as typical of the style found in Worcestershire; The Village Cricket Pavilion featuring a blue-grey roof and green-trimmed facade; The Village School, a two-part building with brown tiled roofs; The Umbrella House, an octagonal building with a conical white roof; and The Toll House, an ornate structure with blue roofs and a central tower. Also included is an additional cottage model with a white facade and arched entrance. Each piece features applied floral and foliage details. All pieces bear a blue printed Coalport backstamp on the underside, identifying them as fine bone china made in England. A small handwritten green decorator mark is present on the base of the Robert Burns’ Cottage model.
