A vintage double-edged cake and pie server produced by Lewis Rose and Co Ltd of Sheffield, England. The server features a stainless steel blade with one finely serrated edge and one smooth edge. The blade is marked with the Larko trademark showing a bird with outspread wings, and is stamped DOUBLE-EDGED CAKE AND PIE SERVER, STAINLESS, and LEWIS ROSE AND CO LTD SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. The piece is fitted with a decorative white metal handle featuring a shell and scroll motif in the Kings pattern. The server is housed in its original gold-toned hinged presentation case with a purple velvet-effect lining.
