A Set of Gilt-Metal Coronation-Style Souvenir Spoons in Presentation Box

A set of six gold-toned spoons, likely gilt-metal, fashioned in the form of the historic British Coronation Anointing Spoon. Each spoon features a divided bowl decorated with cast motifs of birds and foliate scrolls. The handles consist of twisted stems leading to a circular decorative boss at the centre, terminating in a squared knop. The spoons are presented in their original fitted box, which features a red velvet-lined interior. The gold-textured lid of the box is decorated with two horizontal black bands and bears a red square seal with East Asian characters in the lower-left corner. The style of the presentation suggests a mid-20th-century Japanese origin.
