Description
This lot comprises a group of several small ceramic and stoneware items. The collection includes a cylindrical cream-coloured stoneware souvenir jar with a brown glazed lid, featuring a black transfer-printed Welsh Dragon design flanked by the words CYMRU and WALES. Also included is a miniature pottery jar finished in a high-gloss black glaze, accompanied by a matching domed lid with a rounded finial. A small studio pottery open vessel is present, displaying a horizontally ribbed or turned buff-coloured exterior and a contrasting greenish-blue reactive glaze to the interior and rim. The group is completed by a shallow circular dish finished in a dark brown to black glaze. No maker’s marks are visible on the undersides of the pieces.
Height ranging from approximately 4cm to 8cm.
