A Collection of Blue and White Transfer-Printed Tableware and Glass Ovenware

An assortment of transfer-printed ceramic tableware and glass ovenware. The collection includes two graduated oval earthenware platters featuring a blue and white oriental-inspired transfer print. The central scene depicts cranes within a landscape of pagodas and blossoming trees, framed by a floral and cell-pattern border on scalloped, moulded rims. Also included is a group of circular earthenware dinner plates decorated with a blue and white fox hunting scene, resembling the Royal Heritage Country Cottage pattern. The decoration depicts riders on horseback with hounds in a wooded landscape, enclosed by an oak leaf and acorn border. The ovenware comprises a circular white ceramic casserole dish with integral side handles and a clear glass circular dish, also with integral handles. No manufacturer marks are visible on the pieces.
