A circular wall-mounted precision aneroid barometer

A wall-mounted aneroid barometer featuring a circular turned wood case with a dark finish. The instrument is fitted with a silvered metal dial under a glass cover secured by a brass bezel. The dial comprises dual scales measuring pressure in both inches of mercury (28 to 31) and millibars (940 to 1060). Weather indications are printed in various decorative scripts, including Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry. The central area of the dial is open to reveal the internal mechanism. It possesses two hands: a black indicating hand and a brass-coloured setting hand, the latter adjusted by a knob at the glass centre. The dial is inscribed with the words Precision and Barometer, accompanied by a decorative scroll motif.
