A mid-20th-century blue-grey textured steamer trunk

Approximate size: 120cm x 67cm x 59cm. COLLECTION ONLY. A mid-20th-century storage or steamer trunk of rectangular form. The exterior is finished in a blue-grey textured material, likely vulcanised fibre or reinforced canvas, applied over a plywood frame. The construction is reinforced with black-painted metal strapping and numerous rivets, with brass-toned metal guards protecting the corners. The front is fitted with five brass-toned metal latches, including two outer draw-bolts, two inner spring latches, and a central locking hasp. To each side is a black composite or plastic carry handle. The interior is fully lined with a blue and white check patterned paper. This item is offered for collection only.
