A Pair of Vintage Green Glass Demijohns in Slatted Plastic Baskets. Collection Only

A pair of large-capacity vintage green glass demijohns, or carboys, each contained within a protective grey plastic-slatted basket featuring integral twin handles. One vessel is partially draped with a coarse, checkered yellow and brown sackcloth, while the other is fitted with a matching slatted plastic dome cover for the upper section. The green glass is visible through the slatted construction and at the necks. One basket displays a moulded oval plaque with an indistinct inscription and hand-painted blue lettering reading L B B.
