A Pair of Large Green Glass Demijohns in Protective Plastic Crates. Collection Only

A pair of large bulbous demijohns, or carboys, crafted from green glass, traditionally used for the storage or fermentation of liquids. Each vessel is seated within a protective tan-coloured moulded plastic crate with an openwork grid design and integrated twin handles for transport. These items are in the style of those produced by Italian manufacturers such as Villani. One demijohn is topped with a matching conical plastic cover featuring a circular labelling area, while the other is open. One bottle retains a cork stopper, and the other shows remnants of plastic wrapping around the rim. A 150mm scale ruler is included in the images for size reference.
