Description
An assortment of railway-themed artworks and items, featuring three framed colour prints after original works by Michael (Mike) Delany. The prints depict prominent British steam locomotives: LNER No. 4472 Flying Scotsman emerging from a tunnel, Southern Railway No. 34042 Dorchester in a depot setting, and GWR No. 6000 King George V with a passenger train. The Flying Scotsman print is signed and dated lower right Mike Delany 85. The Dorchester print is signed and dated lower right Mike Delany 86. The King George V print is signed and dated lower right – Michael Delany. 73 -. These prints are held in uniform dark-stained wooden frames with gilded inner borders. Also included are two monochrome prints or silver gelatin photographs in glass clip frames, one showing locomotive No. 5038 at a platform and another depicting a streamlined A4 Pacific locomotive. The group is completed by a circular commemorative plaque or coaster featuring the locomotive Blanche and inscribed BLANCHE FFESTINIOG RAILWAY.
