Lot 161:
Description
A single small wooden humidor crafted in a traditional barrel form. The vessel is constructed from a fine-grained wood with a warm, polished finish, featuring a convex lid. The lid is topped with a unique horizontally-oriented cylindrical handle that includes a central aperture. The side of the barrel bears a handwritten inscription in dark ink, which appears to be partially illegible but possibly commences with the letters Mau or May. This piece serves as a compact tobacco storage container, typical of mid-century smoking accessories. Dimensions: approximately 85mm in height and 65mm in diameter.
