A Collection of World Banknotes Including RU Imperial, UK, and European Issues

This collection of international banknotes features a diverse range of issues from the early 20th century to the late 1980s. Significant Russian Imperial State Credit Notes are present, notably a large-format 1912 500 Rubles note (serial AM 193507) featuring Peter the Great and a 1910 100 Rubles note (serial ГЦ 186294) with Catherine the Great. The Russian group also includes 1909 25 Rubles notes (serials AB 052351 and ДВ 281783), a 1917 Provisional Government 250 Rubles note, 1909 10 and 5 Rubles notes, and a 1905 3 Rubles note.

British currency is represented by a Series C Bank of England £10 note (serial A25 354624) featuring Queen Elizabeth II, which bears a red ink notation 70 on the obverse. Multiple Bank of England £1 notes from Series C (Portrait) and Series D (Pictorial) are included, alongside 10 Shilling notes with signatures of O’Brien, Hollom, and Fforde. Scottish issues consist of multiple Royal Bank of Scotland £1 notes from the Lord Ilay series.

International notes include a 1910 German Reichsbank 1000 Mark note, a Dutch 10 Gulden note featuring Frans Hals, a Belgian 50 Franc note depicting King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola, and an Irish £1 note depicting Medb. Further items include a Hungarian 1000 Forint note, two Bulgarian 200 Leva notes, a 1961 Mozambique 100 Escudos note, and a 1988 Peruvian 1000 Intis note.
