Alphonse Mucha, A Set of Decorative Prints, The Seasons

A set of decorative offset lithographs after the 1896 series The Seasons by Alphonse Mucha. The collection comprises representations of Spring (Printemps), Summer (Été), Autumn (Automne), and Winter (Hiver) in the Art Nouveau style. Each image depicts a female figure in a seasonal setting. Every print bears a printed signature Mucha and is titled in French along the right-hand margin. These are unnumbered editions and do not display publisher’s marks. The prints are presented in matching dark-stained wood frames with moulded foliate inner borders and gilt slips.
