A Collection of Ceramic and Metal Souvenir and Commemorative Thimbles

A collection of souvenir and commemorative thimbles, predominantly of white glazed ceramic construction with one cast grey metal example. THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH. One thimble features cursive text reading Brambly, while another includes the words THE HAPPY. Several examples are finished with gilded rims. The metal thimble features architectural relief and partial embossed lettering E OF LIBER. Some ceramic pieces bear blue circular backstamps to the interior, though these are not clearly legible for specific factory attribution.
