A Pair of Ceramic Clydesdale Heavy Horses in Show Harness

A pair of glazed ceramic figurines depicting Clydesdale or Shire heavy horses in full show harness. The horses are finished in a high-gloss bay colourway with white blazes to the faces and white feathered lower legs. The harnesses are constructed from mixed materials, including black faux-leather straps, brass-toned metal chains, and studs. The modelling and style are characteristic of mid-20th-century British pottery, often attributed to Melba Ware. No factory marks or signatures are visible on the items.
