A set of four low-profile placemats or plates of cushion-square form. The items are constructed from a dark grey to black matte-finished stoneware with a slate-effect texture. The minimalist decoration consists of a grid of four intersecting white lines forming a central square, likely applied via transfer printing. The items are of uniform thickness with smooth edges. No maker marks are visible on the upper surfaces. The set is currently secured with natural twine.
