A miniature salt-glazed stoneware cider jug produced by Moira Pottery. The vessel features a cylindrical buff-coloured body with a contrasting cobalt blue speckled glaze applied to the shoulders, neck, and strap handle. The front is decorated with a black transfer-printed graphic depicting a gentleman in a top hat holding a tankard, accompanied by the inscriptions VINTAGE CIDER, GOOD HEALTH, and FROM THE WEST COUNTRY, with REGO. printed below the central figure. This piece was likely produced as promotional ware for the Taunton Cider Company. The glaze exhibits characteristic dark iron speckling throughout. Height: approximately 11 cm.
