Description
An East Asian hand-painted paper and bamboo parasol, likely of Japanese origin. The cream-coloured paper canopy is decorated with a traditional motif featuring a songbird perched upon a flowering plum branch with red blossoms, accompanied by a spray of blue flowers. The design is finished with a dark painted border at the edge of the canopy. A square red seal mark is present on the upper portion of the paper.
