Description
This original mid-20th-century commemorative lapel pin represents the German city of Wuppertal. Crafted from metal with a silver-toned finish, the shield-shaped badge features the city’s coat of arms in high relief, depicting a crowned lion rampant holding a gridiron against a recessed, black-textured background. The top header is embossed with the text Wuppertal in traditional Fraktur script. The reverse features a simple vertical pin-and-catch assembly, typical of souvenir badges or tinnies produced between the 1930s and the 1950s. Dimensions: 3.2 cm x 2.5 cm.
