A collection of vintage British children’s annuals published by D.C. Thomson & Co., Ltd., comprising multiple volumes of The Dandy Book. The years represented include 1969, 1975, 1976, 1978, and 1979, alongside one additional undated volume. Each annual is in a quarto format with full-colour pictorial paper-covered boards. The covers feature the character Korky the Cat in various scenarios: the 1969 volume shows Korky at a dining table; the 1975 edition has a festive Christmas theme; the 1976 edition illustrates Korky with a model railway; the 1978 volume features Korky in a Santa Claus outfit; and the 1979 edition includes a riddle and an illustration of Korky boxing a green octopus. The undated volume features a three-panel comic strip sequence on the front cover.
