A Vintage Royalex Folding Wooden Pasting Table

A vintage Royalex bi-fold work or pasting table of mid-20th-century manufacture, designed for wallpapering or use as a temporary trestle-style work surface. The table features a thin hardboard top surface mounted onto a softwood frame, likely pine. It is supported by two sets of folding legs which are braced by metal locking stay-bars. The unit incorporates a bi-fold design to allow for compact storage and transport, secured by a metal latch at the side. The underside of the hardboard top is stamped with the maker’s mark ROYALEX in capital letters.
