This vintage educational science kit is a Logix-Kosmos Science Fun Experiments in Optics set, presented in its original cardboard box with a protective polystyrene internal tray. The kit is designed to perform up to 135 experiments and features numerous precision components. The set includes various optical parts such as lenses, prisms, colour filters in red, green, blue, and yellow, mirrors, and black plastic housings and tubes. According to the box text, the components allow for the assembly of various optical devices including a microscope, periscope, telescope, kaleidoscope, and a functioning 35mm SLR reflex camera. The original 113-page illustrated experiment manual by Peter Schöne is included. The manufacturer mark Logix-kosmos is clearly printed on the box lid and the internal manual.
