This collection consists of Approx 70 photographic postcards featuring a wide array of North American railroad subjects. The items cover a broad chronological range, documenting the transition from classic steam power to mid-to-late 20th-century diesel locomotives. The cards are printed on heavy cardstock, the majority of which feature a high-gloss photographic finish. The subject matter includes prominent railway companies from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Notable locomotives identified within the collection include Southern Pacific unit 8140 in the red and grey livery, Santa Fe unit 5976 in the yellow and red Warbonnet scheme, and Santa Fe unit 5614 in blue and yellow freight livery.
