Vintage Bluebird Toys Mighty Max Stings the Scorpion Playset

This item is a vintage miniature pocket playset from the Mighty Max line, specifically the Stings the Scorpion set from the Horror Heads series. Produced by Bluebird Toys PLC, the set is constructed from moulded plastic with a hinged clamshell design. The exterior is shaped like a scorpion with a textured black carapace, red legs, large pincers, and a segmented red tail tipped with a blue stinger. A red and gold hexagonal logo containing the letters MM is embossed on the upper carapace. The interior opens to reveal a multi-coloured mechanical environment with yellow, green, and blue components. The underside features an embossed maker’s mark reading: Bluebird, BLUEBIRD TOYS PLC., SWINDON, ENGLAND, © 1993, MADE IN CHINA, PATENT PENDING.
