Description
A mid-20th-century vintage cine film viewer and editor, model Haynorette Mark II. The device is constructed with a heavy cast metal body finished in a traditional grey hammer-tone. It is designed for viewing and editing small-gauge cine film, with independent web records identifying this specific model for 16mm film use. The mechanism features a film transport path with multiple guide rollers and a rotating hexagonal glass prism optical system designed to project film frames onto the integrated ground glass viewing screen. The front of the casting is embossed with the identifiers HAYNORETTE and MK II.
