The bowl is heavily decorated with an applied gilt pattern featuring ornate scrolling foliate motifs and lace-like medallions set between horizontal bands. It features a clear glass stem and a circular foot with a gold-rimmed edge. A circular maker’s mark is present on the underside of the foot, though the characters within are not clearly legible. Accompanying the snifter is a set of five clear glass liqueur glasses. The bowl of each glass is decorated with hand-painted enamel depicting white branches and stylized red berries. These glasses are constructed with a clear stem featuring a distinctive matte black knop and a clear, undecorated circular foot.
