A collection of automotive and geographic reference books and handbooks, predominantly associated with the Automobile Association (AA) in Great Britain. The group comprises several volumes including a black cloth-bound hardcover AA Road Atlas Great Britain, issued for the AA Centenary 1905-2005; a brown textured cloth-bound hardcover titled The Complete Atlas of Britain, covering road maps, town plans, and motorways; a pictorial hardcover titled Know About Your Car; a tan cloth-bound hardcover titled The Reader’s Digest AA Book of the Road; and a softcover Handybooks Owner’s Handbook for the Cortina Mk 1, 2 (1962-70), authored by Kenneth Ball as Handybook 44. The volumes vary in size from approximately octavo to quarto formats. The hardcover volumes are issued without dust jackets.
