The lot comprises a rectangular glazed display case in dark-stained wood containing a pair of hand-painted eggs, and two miniature cork carvings in glass domes. The display case features a stepped base and is lined with pleated and tufted seafoam green fabric. The eggs are decorated with traditional shanshui mountain-water landscapes featuring verdant peaks, pine trees, and pavilions painted in a palette of greens and blues. The two miniature cork carvings, or ruan mu hua, depict intricate architectural scenes including single-tier pavilions and connecting bridges. Each carving is housed within a blown glass dome set upon a circular black-finished base.
