Description
A small silver-plated pedestal bowl or tazza manufactured by James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield. The bowl features a lobed or petal-form body divided into six sections, raised on a simple flared pedestal base. The underside of the base is impressed with a sequence of five individual stamps including a crown symbol, the letters J, D, &, S, and a bugle trade mark. Below this is the stamped text MADE IN ENGLAND. This item is constructed from electro-plated nickel silver (EPNS).
