Pentacon Prakticar 50mm f/1.8 MC Lens in Specialised Industrial Optical Assembly

The lens component is a Pentacon Prakticar 50mm f/1.8 MC (Multi-Coated) prime lens, manufactured in East Germany. Identifying marks on the front ring include Pentacon, MC, f=50mm, 1:1.8, and Prakticar. The lens barrel features a focus ring with distance markings in metres, including visible increments from 0.45 to 2.25. The lens is integrated into a heavy-duty cylindrical metal housing with a black textured crinkle-paint finish. This housing incorporates a brass-coloured spacer ring and a secondary adjustment knob on the side for internal positioning.
