An Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Scissors, Craft Shears, and a Promotional Sharpener

This lot comprises an assortment of cutting tools and a vintage sharpening accessory. Included are several pairs of household and utility shears with moulded plastic and rubberised handles in various colours including black, lime green, and blue. One large pair of shears features blades etched with the word PAPER and has black plastic handles. Specialty items include a pair of decorative-edge craft scissors with red handles, a pair of small hair-cutting shears with an iridescent finish and an integrated finger rest, and a pair of all-metal embroidery scissors. A pair of spring-action thread snips with blue handles is also present. The lot includes a vintage The People’s Friend Scissors Sharpener, still attached to its original red promotional card which identifies it as a gift from The People’s Friend magazine. A partial cardboard box is also included with text reading PRECISION MADE SCISSORS WITH MOTOR DRIVEN BLADES. The blades are constructed from steel with handles made from a mix of moulded plastic, rubberised grips, and chrome-plated metal.
