Gothic Style Skull and Rose Novelty Lidded Vessel

A cast resin novelty vessel in the form of a human skull with a rose gripped in its teeth. This two-part object comprises a base with three notches at the rim, serving as an ashtray, and a removable lid. The lid features an irregular aperture at the top, consistent with a pencil sharpener or incense holder function. The exterior is finished with a mottled reddish-brown patina to resemble aged bronze, including molded cracks for a Gothic aesthetic. The interior of the bowl and the underside of the lid show a dark, smooth finish. No visible marks or signatures are present.
