A contemporary chrome-plated floor lamp in the style of Walter von Nessen. The design features a circular weighted base supporting a slender columnar stem. The upper section incorporates a hinged swing-arm mechanism, allowing for horizontal adjustment of the light source. It is fitted with a large, cylindrical white fabric drum shade. The lamp is equipped with a black rotary on/off switch on a white plastic housing located at the arm junction, and an additional white plastic foot-operated inline switch on a clear power cord. Materials include chrome-plated metal, fabric shade, and plastic electrical components. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of the piece.
