This vintage portable electric lantern is identified as the Ever Ready Motormate II, a classic piece of British automotive emergency equipment. The unit is constructed from a yellow moulded plastic casing and features a black plastic pivoting carry handle. The front of the device houses a primary circular spotlight with a clear lens and a faceted reflector. Situated above the main light is a rectangular fluted lens in an amber colour, intended for use as a hazard or emergency warning signal.
