Royal Worcester Miniature Millennium Commemorative Champagne Bottle 2000 AD

A Royal Worcester porcelain miniature bottle, produced as a commemorative item for the millennium. The piece is modelled in the form of a champagne bottle with a deep cobalt blue ground and extensive gilt decoration. The neck is finished in gold gilding to simulate foil, featuring a geometric lattice pattern at the collar. The body is inscribed in gilt script with the words Vintage 2000 AD and THE MILLENNIUM on one side, and Première Cuvée Millennium along with ROYAL WORCESTER maison fondée en 1751 on the other. The base carries a black backstamp featuring the Royal Worcester crest, identifying the piece as made in England and dated 1999. The mark states the item was produced as a limited edition until 31st December 2000.
