Description
A late 19th-century rectangular wooden money box, typical of Victorian seaside souvenir ware. The lid is decorated with an oval transfer-printed vignette titled THE BEACH, SOUTHPORT, depicting a bustling beach scene with figures, a sand yacht, and the town’s seafront architecture in the background. The box is constructed with a hinged lid and features a single coin slot on the left side panel. A metal lock mechanism is fitted to the front. The interior consists of unfinished wood.
