A Pair of Beswick Ceramic Horse Foals

This lot features a pair of Beswick fouls, or foals, finished in a glossy brown glaze. The first figurine depicts a foal in a grazing pose and bears the incised model number 1813 on the underside, accompanied by a circular black Beswick England transfer mark. The second figurine is a larger foal with its head raised, featuring a matching glaze and style. Both figurines are detailed with black manes, tails, and hooves, with white sock markings to the legs. These items were produced by the renowned British manufacturer Beswick in Stoke-on-Trent.
