Description
This item is a miniature lidded urn on a pedestal foot, produced by Minton in bone china. The vessel features a separate domed lid with a pointed finial and relief-moulded scrollwork on the body. The central decoration consists of a multi-coloured floral spray featuring a prominent pink rose alongside blue, yellow, and purple flowers. This motif is framed by relief-moulded gilded bows and trailing foliage. The lid, rims, and base are accented with hand-applied gold banding and decorative gilded scrolls, while the pedestal foot features fluted moulding. The underside of the base bears a printed mark in brown consisting of a crown symbol above the words FOUNDED MINTON 1793 within a laurel wreath, with BONE CHINA and MADE IN ENGLAND printed below. A red felt protective ring is attached to the base.
