Description
A collection of approximately 50-60 vintage 7 inch vinyl records, comprising both singles and Extended Play (EP) releases, primarily from the 1950s and 1960s. The collection features a variety of pop, vocal, and easy listening artists on various UK-pressed labels. Identified items include Al Jolson, Songs He Made Famous, Volume 1, Part 1 EP (Brunswick Records, OE 9356); Clarence Frogman Henry, But I Do / Just My Baby and Me (Pye International, 7N.25150); and Jean Campbell, Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool (Embassy Records, 45-WB 407). Other labels present include Philips. Many of the plain paper sleeves feature handwritten artist attributions in ink, including names such as Johnny Mathis, Helen Shapiro, Engelbert Humperdinck, Ronnie Hilton, Pat Boone, Paul Anka, David Whitfield, Malcolm Vaughan, Dickie Valentine, and The Typhoons. The records are housed in a vintage black textured vinyl-covered carrying case with a hinged lid and a metal front latch.
