A Pair of Small Cast Iron Pots

A pair of small cast iron pots of graduated sizes, each of a simple cylindrical form with a wire bail handle. The construction and shape are consistent with inner liner vessels used in traditional double-boiler hide glue pots. Both items are made from cast iron with a granular surface texture characteristic of the casting process. The handles are made from iron wire and are attached to integral lugs on the rims. No maker marks, stamps, or inscriptions are visible on the interior or exterior of either piece.
