Three Framed Victoria College of Music London Diplomas and Certificates Early 20th Century

This lot consists of three framed certificates and diplomas issued by the Victoria College of Music, London, which was founded in 1890 and incorporated in 1891. The collection includes a Diploma of Associate (A.V.C.M.) featuring a decorative header with lists of patrons and examiners, and a central red embossed seal. Two further certificates are for Examinations in Instrumental and Vocal Music; one is dated 1918 for pianoforte playing and notes the candidate was a pupil of the Honorary Secretary Mr J. Flinders. All three items are signed by the college Principal, J.G. Cooper, Mus. D. (James Graham Cooper). The documents are printed with decorative borders and crests associated with the Royal Borough of Kensington.
