Description
A small decorative vessel or cream jug crafted from white glazed porcelain. The piece is realistically modelled in the form of a stylized marine creature, featuring a textured, scaled body and prominent fins. The creature’s tail curves forward to form a loop handle, while the open mouth serves as the spout. The item is finished with a uniform high-gloss white glaze on both the interior and exterior surfaces. It stands on a plain, unglazed oval foot rim. No manufacturer marks, stamps, or signatures are visible. This form is characteristic of the traditional gluggle jug design produced by various British potteries during the 20th century.
