A Trio of Decorative Wooden Items Including Two Boxes and a Wall Mask

A trio of decorative wooden items comprising a carved jewellery box, a small chest, and a wall mask. The rectangular jewellery or trinket box is constructed from hardwood with a red velveteen-lined interior. Its exterior features dense, high-relief carving of scrolling foliage and floral motifs, with red-tinted detailing on the lid. The box is elevated on four turned ball feet and carries a modern auction label on the base. The wall mask is hand-carved in a stylised African manner, featuring elongated proportions, a tiered vertical forehead crest, heavy brow ridges, and an open mouth showing carved teeth and tongue. It is finished with a dark stain and a light surface polish. The small keepsake chest is of softwood construction with a domed lid, featuring scalloped metal straps and a swing-arm latch, resting on four wooden block feet.
